Cannot sign in!

This is the most frustrating app that I have to deal with. With the latest update, it gets stuck in a loop on the sign in screen. You enter credentials, it opens a page that says loading company information, then flashes back to the sign in screen. I can access QBO thru the browser, but the print function isnt working in the payroll section. Also, the feedback button doesnt work in the browser so you can’t even report these issues! AccountEdge is looking better all the time.

Workaround for App Crashing

This app has not worked since the update to 2.4.4. I called support and the woman told me they were aware of the situation but they did not know when it would be fixed. She gave me this workaround to reset the app and it worked: Double click the app icon while holding fn + option + shift It will ask if you want to reset the app, say yes, then you can log in as usual. This worked for me.

Crash crash crash

Since yesterday can’t open for the same reasons. Please FIX!! Found the fix, went to QB site and the app needs to be reset. Close the app, then open holding the Fn key down. Follow instructions. Worked for me,lets see how it holds up now.

Hold ‘fn’ key while starting the app to reset back to clean state

If the app gets into weird state and not letting you login, try this:- Quit the app completely including the little QuickBooks icon sitting in the menu bar at the top, then press and hold the ‘fn’ (function) key and restart the app. It will prompt you to reset the app, click ‘Reset’ button to continue. The app will reset and quit. Now try launching it again and login.

Unusable, started crashing every time I start the app

I never liked the desktop app much, but now it flat out won’t launch without crashing. When it’s working: Pros: - It’s a little quicker than the website Cons: - lacks being able to have multiple tabs open into different screens. - still doesn’t keep me logged in regardless of what I tell it - crashes - crashes

All it does is CRASH

Since the update it keeps crashing - I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling - NO luck - figure it out!

Psst. It doesn’t work

For a company as big as Intuit, it’s truely stunning what a poor value they provide. Their apps were lacking simple yet important features when they worked. Now of course, this one doesn’t work, and crashes - requesting you log in over and over without ever opening the application. For $180-$480 dollars a year, I expect better.

Sort of works

This App is in essence a custom browser to use for Quickbooks online. The problem is that is doesn’t function as well as simply using Safari, Chrome or Firefox - especially on the MAC platform. Data often won’t load in the App but will through your regular web browser. Certain functions like quick add a vendor while when making registery entries don’t work at all in the App but will in your regular web browser. Printing checks through the App is also a nightmare. The latest update added a new glitch…upon launching the app it opens two separate sessions in separate windows. I end up simply using Firefox instead of the App - always works.

Frustrating!

I’ve been using QB Online for a couple of years now and the standalone app, while nice in general, is plagued with problems. The latest one is the app stopped working after the most recent OS update. I had to use TrashMe to completely uninstall the QB app off my computer and then reinstall it fresh. Let’s see how long this last, but I don’t have much hope. Quickbooks folks, this really should work better especially given that many users rely on QB to run their businesses.

User since 2001

I’ve been running a business since 2001 using QuickBooks the entire time. In 2016 I switched over to QuickBooks online. Wow, what a relief! I can now balance accounts (Credit Cards, Bank Accounts), and update/send invoices anywhere … I have felt a tremendous work load lifted being able to work from my Macbook Pro (Office), iPhone 6S Plus (Out of Office), and on any internet connected device in between. I have not encountered any bugs yet and use it about an hour a day. Great product and am very happy I finally made the switch.

Worked for a while now won’t let me login

This app worked for awhile now every time I try to login it goes through the motions but takes me right back to the login screen. It’s helpful when I don’t have to login every time and it really easy to use. Just would like for it to work agin.

Error 102

For over 8 days my bank transactions won’t load into this buggy program. After almost an hour on the phone, it turns out that there has been a ticket in their system from other customers for the past 6 days. Still not fixed, and no ETA for resolution. I do not recommend Quickbooks, as it will turn into a huge timesuck for your business.

STOP LOGGING ME OUT

Stop logging me out of QuickBooks on my Mac! Jeez - it’s not a web browser, please keep the session alive!!

Logging Out Issues

It constantly logs me out everytime and it gets rather annoying. It reports as an error if I pick up using it later because it wants me to sign back in. The software is great but it keeps opening several windows aswell. Other than that the software is great. I would add the ability to scan right into quickbooks instead of using neat or scanning it to my computer then uploading, that would be great.

Don’t bother

I have a small business and since I use Macs, I decided to move my company info from an ancient PC program of Quicken. Set up all the accounts, used it since April 2015. Every time I logged in, I got an error message saying my creddit card expieres today.’ Which is incorrect. I had to go to the Mac settings and reenter the SAME credit card info every time I used the program. At end of year, my business finances were so messed up that I actually had to MANUALLY RECAP THE ENTIRE YEAR using bank statements, invoices, and credit card statement. I paid money for QB every month. They should pay me for the work I had to do!! Be careful if you want this for your business! I’m done!

Logout bugs fixed!

After the new update, the “keep me logged in” bug seems to be fixed. Makes it a lot more enjoyable to use and now I’m not tempted to just use the online version. There seems to be some new/minor bugs that came with the update. When trying to add a new Vendor to the Payee column, it erases everything I typed in and saves it blank. Nothing that will keep me from using the app, just a minor annoyance. Thanks for the fix!

I cannot say enough how annoying the logout problem was for the last few months. After this update, everthing feels very smooth and fluid. Bookeeping is annoying on its own, so adding extra time and effort just to get the app up and running was making it dreadful. Thank you for the fix! As far as the actual software is concerned, I think it is a very basic interface. Perhaps too basic. However, when coupled with quickbooks payments, it gets the job done.

THIS APP IS POTHETIC

I own a moving company and this app is useless. If you create an invoice, you have to go back and make another entry for payment. Realistically, you should be able to open and close an invoice seemlesly. Customer Service is OBVIOUSLY based out of India, can you please give me an American to talk to. Also, why doesn’t ANYONE in your customer service department have an answer to my questions, ridiculous. Whatever you do, DON’T link SQUARE to this app, what a nightmare I have had. I Don’t Recommend this APP to anyone alive and breathing!
